The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 18 is a modern take on the classic Adrenaline running shoe that provides highly-cushioned stability to accommodate moderate to severe over-pronation. A long running favorite in the Brooks line, the Adrenaline 18 offers new updates that make it even more comfortable and supportive than before.
The BioMoGo DNA midsole cushioning of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 18 combines comfort and responsiveness and has been updated to be a little softer than previous models. Additional insole cushioning provides added protection and an even smoother ride.
To provide stability, the Brooks Adrenaline uses a Progressive Diagonal Rollbar that extens from the heel to the forefoot. This rollbar is made up of Tri density foam as well as a DRB Accel TPU piece located at the midfoot that provides torsional rigidity.
Asymmetrical flex grooves keep the shoe flexible without any loss of support and individualizes ground feel to enhance comfort. The segmented crashpad in the heel increases flexibility and enables a smooth heel to toe transition.
The upper has been updated to a more streamlined design that uses an engineered mesh providing both freedom and security. Overlays in specific locations help to wrap the foot for a supportive fit and the lace lock on the tongue helps to keep the tongue snug against your foot. An Element lining helps to wick moisture away from the foot.
The Brooks Adrenaline uses a mostly blown rubber outsole to provide plenty of durability, traction, and flexibility for high mileage and use.
The Brooks Adrenaline 18 has a stack height of 30mm in the heel, 18mm at the forefoot for a heel to toe drop of 12mm. It weighs in at 10.0oz for men and 9.0oz for women.
The Brooks Adrenaline is a tried and tested shoe that continues to be an excellent option for runners seeking a high-performance stability shoe.
